[For desktop users:]

The following images highlight all the information you can add to an Artwork.

The BASIC INFORMATION tab in the Upload Artwork page, highlighting the artwork thumbnail and the Transparent background toggle, the Type of Artwork section, and the Title, Artist, Medium, Year, Price, and Dimensions fields.

1.  An image. Hover over the image and click Edit to update the image file or Crop to modify the image’s size and orientation. Enable Transparent background to remove shadows that may appear in irregular artworks or 3D art or to place the artwork flat against the wall when you add it to a Virtual Exhibition.

2.  The type of artwork: 2D Artwork, Video, Sculpture, and Digital Art.

3.  The piece’s title, the artist’s name, the creation year, the selling price (in the currency of your choice), and the medium (materials or techniques) used to create it. Video artworks also include a link to a video on Youtube or Vimeo.

4.  The size. For videos and digital art, you can indicate an approximate display size. For 2D artwork and sculptures, you can indicate dimensions in inches or centimeters. Only the height field is required, as the system automatically calculates the width based on the image’s aspect ratio.

Note: Title, image, height, and video URL are required fields. Leaving them empty will block you from opening the Additional Information tab.

Open the Additional Information tab to fill out further details about an artwork:

The ADDITIONAL INFORMATION tab in the Upload Artwork page, highlighting the following fields: Description, Material, Collection, Privacy, Purchase URL, View More URL, NFT URL, Orientation, and Colors.

5.  A description where you can add any additional information about the piece or the artist that you think would be relevant for art enthusiasts and potential buyers.

6.  The materials used in the piece. Depending on the type of artwork you select, different options are displayed.

7.  Tags to add the artwork to a collection. Click the field to open a list of possible collections. Optionally, type a keyword and click Enter to add the artwork to a new collection.

8.  The artwork’s privacy. Other ArtPlacer users can see the artwork on Discover Portfolio and ArtPlacer Mobile when it's public. When it’s private, only you can see it.

9.  Links to a third-party purchase site, an NFT site, or a site with more information about the artwork, such as the artist’s page or your gallery’s site.

10. The orientation (portrait or landscape).

11. The primary colors in the piece.

To finish, click SAVE ARTWORK to update the artwork or CANCEL to discard all changes.
