How To Upload Artworks

In ArtPlacer, an Artwork is any piece you want to showcase, painting, sculpture, photo, or digital creation. 


You’ll manage all your Artworks in the Artworks section of your account. This article shows you how to upload them, either one by one, in bulk or with a CSV file.

Initial Considerations:

  1. The file formats accepted are: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and/or GIF.

  2. The file size cannot exceed 40 megabytes.

  3. The file resolution cannot exceed 258 megapixels.

  4. The number of files uploaded cannot exceed the allowance quota limit according to the plan that you are subscribed to. To see what is included in each plan, please follow this link.


How To Upload a Single Artwork File

  1. Log in to your ArtPlacer account, head up to the Artworks section, and click (or tap) on the red button that says UPLOAD ARTWORKS and select Upload Single Artwork from the drop-down menu options.

  2. Click (or tap) on the black button that reads UPLOAD ARTWORK IMAGEAnd then, make sure to select the proper type of Artwork from the 2D Artwork, Video, Sculpture, or Digital Art options. Depending on the option selected, you'd be required to fill in different fields.

  3. Fill the mandatory (starred) Basic Information Tab fields to unlock the Additional Information Tab.

  1. Click (or tap) the SAVE ARTWORK button to finish.


How To Upload a Multiple Selection of Artwork Files

  1. Log in to your ArtPlacer Dashboard, head up to the Artworks section, and click (or tap) on the red button that says UPLOAD ARTWORKS and select Upload Multiple Artworks from the drop-down menu options.

  2. Click (or tap) on the '+' sign or browse button to open your device file explorer app (you could also drag and drop the files on the delimited area).

  3. Select the files you want to upload.
    NOTE: If you hover on top of the Artwork file thumbnails, you could click (or tap) on the pencil icon to begin editing the Artworks' basic information before upload and save time.

  1. Click (or tap) UPLOAD ARTWORKS to begin the upload process.


Import Multiple Artwork Files from Other Platforms Using a CSV File

If you need to upload a large number of artworks at once, you can use the CSV Import option

This allows you to upload all your artwork details in bulk using a spreadsheet file, saving you time compared to adding them one by one.
