How Can I Customize the Widget?

You can customize the widget in different ways:

• Choose the style of the widget button

• Use multiple widgets 

• Display collections

• Add Frames

• Allow artwork resizing

• Choose a language for the widget

Choose the Style of the Widget Button 

When configuring the widget in the widget generator, you can define the style of the widget button on the CUSTOMIZE BUTTON page, in the Button Style step of the process. ArtPlacer offers different style types for your button:

• Default

• Custom

• Thumbnail

• CSS Class Name

Use Multiple Widgets

You can add more than one widget type to your website. Below, you can find a list of the different types of ArtPlacer widgets and links to the configuration articles for each:

Display Collections

When configuring the widget in the widget generator, you can enable the Catalog Sidebar toggle to display the entire ArtPlacer Catalog of artworks or only specific collections. When enabled, additional settings become available: select whether you want the Catalog Sidebar to open automatically and set the collections you want to display.

Add Frames

When configuring the widget in the widget generator, you can enable the Frames Button toggle to show the frames option for the artworks. When enabled, visitors can select a frame from a preset list of available frames and try them on an artwork.

Allow Artwork Resizing

When configuring the widget in the widget generator, you can enable the Resizable Artwork toggle to allow visitors to resize the artwork on the widget's image wall.

Choose a Language for the Widget

When configuring the widget in the widget generator, you can select the language you want the widget to display on the Language option. Currently, the available languages are:
