Bulk actions allow you to update information for multiple artworks simultaneously, streamlining your workflow and ensuring consistency across your collection. This feature is particularly beneficial when preparing artworks for integration into various presentation types within ArtPlacer's Presentations module.

Accessing Bulk Actions

1. Navigate to the Artworks Section:

• From the home dashboard, click the Artworks dashlet or select Artworks from the top header.
• On mobile devices, tap the Artworks section from the home dashboard or access it via the menu in the top header.

2. Enable Bulk Actions:

• Click or tap the BULK ACTIONS toggle to activate the selection mode.

Performing Bulk Edits

1. Select Artworks:

• Mark each artwork you wish to update. Selected artworks will be highlighted for clarity.

2. Initiate Attribute Update:

• Click or tap Update Attributes to open a menu listing all editable fields.

3. Choose Fields to Edit:

• From the menu, select the specific fields you intend to update (e.g., artist name, medium, price).
• After selecting the desired fields, click or tap BULK EDIT.

4. Enter New Values:

• In the popup window, input the new information for each selected field.

5. Apply Changes:

• Click or tap APPLY TO SELECTION to implement the updates across all chosen artworks.

6. Confirm Updates:

• A confirmation prompt will appear. Click or tap CONTINUE to finalize the changes.

Best Practices

• Detailed Information: Providing comprehensive details for each artwork enhances the functionality of the Presentations module, allowing for more effective Portfolio Presentations, Artwork Labels, Inventory Reports, and Viewing Rooms.

• Organize with Tags and Collections: Utilize tags and collections to categorize your artworks. This organization facilitates the creation of themed presentations and tailored viewing experiences.
