Can I Create My Own Frame

Modified on Fri, Nov 7 at 5:56 PM

Within ArtPlacer, you can create custom frames for your Artworks in Room Mockups, Personal Spaces, and Art Show Planner using the Frame Builder. Start by adding your artwork and selecting the “Frames” option at the bottom of the screen; from here, you have two options:

  • Click on “Create” to open the Frame Builder and create your frame from scratch.

  • Choose width, material, and color, and incorporate a mat, a floating frame, and even a glass reflection. Name it and save it.

  • Choose one of the pre-made ArtPlacer frames as a starting point and click on the pencil icon to open the Frame Builder and edit it.
Use the many customization options available to adjust the frame to your liking, and once you’re happy with your changes, click on “Save” or “Save as new”.

⚠️Please note that by choosing “Save” you’ll overwrite the original frame. If you want to keep both the existing one and add your newly created frame, choose “Save as new”.

You can customize your frames with various options, including:

Frame width – adjust the thickness of your frame

Material – select from available textures and colors

Floating frame – add or remove a floating effect

Mat – include a mat and customize its width, type, and color

Glass reflection – enable or disable for a more realistic look

Name – assign a name to your custom frame

Please note that while you can customize frames using these options, it is not possible to upload or add entirely new frame styles beyond the ones provided within our Frame Builder.
