How To Create a Frame

Modified on Tue, Oct 14 at 3:51 PM

When curating a Room Mockup, Art Show Planner, or Personal Space, ArtPlacer provides a variety of default frames to choose from. However, you can also create custom frames to match your aesthetic and style perfectly.

Steps to Create a Custom Frame

  • Add an Artwork to a space and click on it.
  • Click the Frames button at the bottom of your screen.
  • Click the “NEW” button to open the Frame Builder.

Configure Your Frame

On the Frame Builder page, you can customize your frame using the following options:

  • Name: Give your frame a name to easily identify it later.
  • Frame Width: Use the selector to set the frame’s width.
  • Material: Choose a material from the dropdown. Available textures and color options will depend on the selected material.
  • Floating Frame: Enable this toggle to create a floating effect. Use the selector to adjust the gap width.
  • Mat: Enable this toggle to add a mat around your artwork. You can configure the mat’s width, type, and color.
  • Glass Reflection: Enable this option to give your frame a realistic glass-like appearance.

As you make changes, a live preview on the right panel shows how your frame will look. Click Reset at any time to undo all adjustments.

Save and Access Your Frame

Once you’ve finished configuring your frame, click SAVE FRAME. The platform will automatically take you back to your space and locate your new frame in the Frames section at the bottom of the screen.
